Any ideas on what matter type to put a family protection claim matter?
I currently have it under Family - general and it wont let me add the estate name from the table (it's greyed out).
I suggested a misc matter under the suggestions and ideas page so we have something that we can customise to what we actually need and not what Leap lets us have when choosing matter type and what goes into the table, but appears it may not be that helpful.
I run into this problem regularly with matter types that are not quite fit for purpose. However, usually I can adjust the table to match the requirements but it still shows an incorrect heading. E.g. What matter type would you put Transmission under????
Would love to hear what everyone else has been doing!
Not sure if it what you are after, but we use Litigation & Disputes/Estate Dispute and then add Family Protection Claim in the Description. This let us add the estate name.
Oh yes, thank you! I never thought to look in there. Generally we only work out of about 4 types so didn't think to look in there.
We have this issue too and requested more matter categories specifically available under Family for this reason. One that we requested was specifically for FPA matters. I am still waiting to hear back from that.
