By default, LawConnect uses the 'noreply@lawconnect.com' email address to send a sharing notification email (e.g. 'A new document has been shared with you') when you securely share correspondence with clients and third parties.

If your law firm uses Microsoft 365, you can also set LawConnect to use your own email address to send these sharing notification emails when you securely share correspondence with clients and third parties.

Why use your own email address when sending LawConnect sharing notification emails?

In addition to LawConnect's popular custom logo and colour scheme customisation functionality for law firms, LawConnect can send sharing notification emails from your own email address for an enhanced client experience.

Clients and third parties can reply directly to you from LawConnect sharing notification emails.

Desktop: Click the LEAP Menu > Settings > Application Settings.

The LEAP Application Settings will open in a new window.

 

Web: Click  > Settings > Application Settings.

The LEAP Application Settings will open in a new window.

Linking your Microsoft 365 with LawConnect can be completed with the following steps:

  1. Click Integrations > Email Accounts.

  2. Click on Link under the Microsoft Office logo.

    This will present an authentication window.

  3. Select Activate and sign in with your Microsoft 365 Administrator account.

     If you're unsure of your Microsoft 365 admin credentials, it's best to contact your IT professional or office administrator to obtain the correct login details.

  4. Once signed in, permissions will need to be granted to LEAP.

  5. Once your account has been linked, the Microsoft Accounts can be managed via Email Accounts within the Application Settings.

    Active LEAP accounts will now display their linked status.

To unlink an account:

  1. Toggle the switch (from green to white) next to relevant account under Microsoft Accounts.
  2. Click Save.

This will update the window and remove the tick once the account is no longer linked.

 

To change the Microsoft Account associated with the user:

  1. Modify the account information within the text box of the relevant account under Microsoft Accounts.
  2. Click Save.
