Writing Off a Cost Recovery After It Has Been Added to an Invoice

Please see below for information on writing off a cost recovery that has been added to an invoice.

If the invoice is in Draft status, the steps to write off the cost recovery are as follows:

  1. Double-click the invoice in the Office Accounting tab to open it.

  2. Right-click the cost recovery and click Remove From Invoice.

  3. Click Save & Close.

If the invoice is in Final - Printed/Sent status, the steps to write off the cost recovery are as follows:

  1. Right-click the invoice in the Office Accounting tab.

  2. Click Adjust Invoice. The New Invoice Adjustment window will appear.

  3. Enter the adjustment amount.

  4. Click Save & Close.
