The matter title 'Personal Protection of Property Rights' is incorrect and inaccurate. The relevant legislation in New Zealand is the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988 (PPPR), and it provides for both the protection of a person's welfare and property. Matters under the PPPR might deal with either welfare guardianship or property management, or both. 'Personal protection of property rights' as a descriptor doesn't encompass the welfare guardianship aspects of these matters.
