Updates to Trust matter types and new Public Law
We’ve expanded LEAP to better support firms working in trust law and public law, with new areas of law, updated matter types, and tailored tables.
Trust
A dedicated Trusts area of law now brings all trust work into one place. Key updates include:
- Trust Formation (previously Discretionary Trust)
- Trust Changes (previously Trust under Commercial)
- Trust Wind Up (new)
- Trust Dispute (new, shortcut from Litigation & Disputes)
- Trust Administration (relocated)
Matter tables have also been improved, with a new Retired Trustee table, a renamed Appointor table, and a new Deed Register.
Public Law
A new Public Law area of law has been added, with two matter types:
- Local Government: roles for Organisation, Council, Authority, Ombudsman, plus a Decision Details table.
- Public Law – General: roles for Complainant, Claimant, Decision-Maker, Authority, with flexible tables that can be tailored to your practice.
