We have made some important updates to cards to improve the management of client information and in order to support planned future enhancements and functionality within LEAP. The previously combined AML Risk DD & EPOA tab has now been divided into two distinct tabs, AML and Authorised Representatives:

AML

Update: AML Risk DD tab has been renamed AML

Other than this name change, there have been no further modifications to this card tab.

We are, however, planning significant future updates to the AML tab to improve how customer due diligence (CDD) information is stored, verified, and linked.

Planned updates will include:

• The ability to securely store CDD documentation such as ID and proof of address
• Integration with third-party providers for ID verification
• Linking CDD information on cards to related matters
• Improvements to fields for Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) and Source of Funds/Source of Wealth

AUTHORISED REPRESENTATIVES

Update: New tab Authorised Representatives

The previous Enduring Power of Attorney (EPOA) and Power of Attorney (POA) tabs found under AML Risk DD & EPOA are now located within the new Authorised Representatives tab and have been updated to allow users to more accurately record their clients’ appointed authorities.

Note: Additional tabs will be added in future updates to record details of other authorities a client may hold or delegate to another person or entity.

Enduring Power of Attorney updates:

• Personal Care & Welfare (as highlighted in red below) includes new fields for recording the date Appointed, the Successor Attorney names and the Activation status of the EPOA
• Property (as highlighted in green below) includes new fields for two attorneys, recording the date Appointed, the Activation status of the EPOA, and how the attorneys are authorised to act

Power of Attorney updates:

• Supports the addition of up to three attorneys (as highlighted in red below)
• New fields to specify how the attorneys will act (as highlighted in green below)
