3 NEW MATTER TYPES AVAILABLE IN LEAP
New Matter Type - Succession Planning
We’ve created a new Succession Planning matter type within the existing Estate Planning & Administration area of law, developed in response to user feedback and designed to better reflect the way estate and succession lawyers work day-to-day. This new matter type supports more streamlined setup and management of succession planning matters, with a strong foundation for future enhancements.
To be used for succession planning, including lifetime decision-making and the recording and management of succession arrangements prior to their implementation.

The Succession Planning matter type is also available as a shortcut within the Agricultural & Rural area of law.
Created default tables on the Succession Planning matter type, with the ability to edit tables and add additional optional tables as required.
New Matter Type - ACC Dispute
We have introduced a dedicated ACC matter type. The new ACC matter type includes purpose-built cards and layouts to improve consistency, accuracy, and efficiency when setting up and managing ACC matters.

You can now record the ACC branch responsible for a claim using the new ACC Card, helping ensure correspondence is sent to the correct ACC office.
New Accident Details and Injury Details layouts have been added to capture key factual and injury-related information, including flexible accident date options, cause of injury, medical certificate status, injury descriptions and a search address field.
The update also adds an ACC Claim Details section to record ACC claim numbers, review numbers, and ACC-approved claim types, with options that remain customisable.
An Alternative Dispute Resolution layout is now available, allowing you to select the relevant ADR method from a drop-down list to clearly record the dispute resolution pathway.
Additional party cards have been introduced, including Recovery Partner, Medical Practice, and Individual Reviewer, making it easier to identify ACC-appointed recovery partners, treating medical practices, and appointed reviewers such as FairWay Resolution or the Independent Complaint and Review Authority (ICRA).
New Matter Type - Trust – General Advice
A new Trust – General Advice matter type has been added to the Trust area of law, offering a dedicated option for advice-only matters or where the scope does not align with existing Trust matter types. Developed in response to user feedback, it provides a flexible structure for managing general trust advice.
