HOW TO ENTER RURAL ADDRESSES ON CARD
Ensure accurate display of RD addresses in all documents and correspondence
When entering a rural address on Card, ensure the RD number is completed manually in the Suburb field, even when using the Search Address feature. This aligns with NZ Post address standards, where rural delivery addresses use the RD number in place of a suburb.
LEAP automatically standardises the formatting in Address fields, so whether “rd1”, “rd 1” or “RD1” is entered in the Suburb field, it will display correctly as “RD 1” in documents and correspondence.
We are working to have the Search Address feature recognise rural addresses to automatically pull through the RD number.
