We've updated every "General" matter type to follow the same naming convention. Each one is now [Area of law] General, giving you a single, predictable name across all areas of law.
Here is a list of all the updated "general" matter types:

Employment General
Estate Administration General
Estate Planning General
Family General
Immigration General
Insurance General
Intellectual Property General
Māori General
Public Law General
Trust General
The updated names will show on all new matters created, and where "auto" is selected for the matter description. You can update the matter description on any existing matters by clicking on the matter type table, then un-ticking the "auto" checkbox under matter description, and entering your preferred matter description:
