A standard Employment Agreement has been published for firms to use when they are employing lawyers and support staff.
The new precedent is found on the Practice Management matter plan, in Folder A - in the sub-folder of Deeds, agreements, execution clauses, and statutory declarations, and Folder B - The employer and employee relationship.
The agreement not only covers the mandatory employment provisions, but also includes optional content appropriate for employment agreements of this nature. It addresses everything that legal employers and new employees should seek to agree on.
