You can search and browse for precedents and commentaries within By Lawyers Legal Guides.        

The search is based on the precedent name or the name and content of commentary topics within a selected guide.

  • iPad
  • Android

Search for Precedents and Commentaries

 

  1. Open a matter.

  2. Click Forms & Precedents on the toolbar while within the Details & Correspondence tab.

  3. Click the Legal Guides tab.

  4. The search bar appears on the right side of the window.

  5. Select whether you'd like to search All By Lawyers information or narrow the search.

  6. Enter your search criteria in the Search field.

Browse for Precedents and Commentaries

 

  1. Open a matter.

  2. Click Forms & Precedents on the toolbar while within the Details & Correspondence tab.

  3. Click the Legal Guides tab.

  4. Publications for related areas of law can be easily selected from the Related Guides section. For example, if working in a Sale of Real Property matter, the Related Guides sidebar provides instant access to the matter plans for Purchase of Real property and Mortgages.

  5. The Browse More Guides button allows you to choose guides from all other areas of law.

  6. Click arrow next to an area of law to expand and then select a matter type.

Search for Precedents and Commentaries

 

  1. Open a matter.

  2. Make sure you're on the Details & Correspondence tab.

  3. Click Forms & Precedents.

    The Forms & Precedents will open in a new window.

  4. Click the Legal Guides tab.

  5. The search bar appears on the right side of the window.

  6. Select whether you'd like to search All By Lawyers information or narrow the search.

  7. Enter your search criteria in the Search field.

Browse for Precedents and Commentaries

 

  1. Open a matter.

  2. Make sure you're on the Details & Correspondence tab.

  3. Click Forms & Precedents.

    The Forms & Precedents will open in a new window.

  4. Click the Legal Guides tab.

  5. Publications for related areas of law can be easily selected from the Related Guides section. For example, if working in an Employment matter, clicking the Related Guides side bar provides instant access to the matter plans for Employment Disputes and Practice Management.

  6. The Browse More Guides button allows you to choose guides from all other areas of law.

  7. Click  next to an area of law to expand and then select a matter type.

  3. Tap the iPhone Add Icon.png icon and tap Forms & Precedents.

    The Forms & Precedents screen will open.

  4. Tap Integrated Guide to the right of the Forms & Precedents tab.

  5. The search bar appears at the top of the matter plan.

  6. Enter your search criteria in the Search field.

Browse for Precedents and Commentaries

 

  1. Open a matter.
