Interest Bearing Deposit Control Account Report

Location: LEAP Menu > Reports > Trust > Interest Bearing Deposit > Interest Bearing Deposit Control Account

Purpose: Lists all transactions for Interest Bearing Deposit Accounts within a specified period, including deposits, withdrawals, fees, interest earned and total balances.

  • This report consolidates transactions from different Interest Bearing Deposit Accounts, organised by either Transaction Date or Entry Date. This distinguishes it from the Interest Bearing Deposit Movement Ledger Report and Interest Bearing Deposit Statement Report, which display records for different accounts separately.
  • In further contrast, this report provides additional transaction information, including Bank Account Number & Name and Matter Number, Client & Description.

Report Filters:

Date Range Displays all Interest Bearing Deposit Accounts transactions within the specified date range, based on either Transaction Date or Entry Date according to your Sort By option. 
Sort By    Sort the report by:
  • Transaction Date – the date when the transaction occurred.
  • Entry Date – the date when the transaction was recorded in the system.

Report Fields:

DateThe date of the transaction.

NOTE THAT: If the Entry Date and the Transaction Date are not the same, both dates will be shown, and the Entry Date will be marked with an asterisk (*).
ReferenceThe transaction reference number.
Paid To/Received from & ReasonDisplays the Payee or Payer of the transaction, and the transaction reason.
Bank Account Number, Name, 
Matter No., Client, Matter Description
  • Bank Account Number & Bank Account Name.
  • Matter Number, Matter Client & Matter Description.
Withdrawal Bank Fees and Withdrawal transactions.
DepositInterest and Deposit transactions.
BalanceTotal Interest Bearing Deposit Account balance after each transaction.
