Oh we have been having the same issue and recently reported it. Apparently, LEAP was unaware of this being an issue however I notice your post is from June this year. So wonder if anyone from LEAP keeps an eye on this page to address issues raised which may or may not receive traction depending on Likes š
Hi Fleur, LEAP are more than aware of it. It was raised by multiple firms as an issue back in March at an in- person meeting with the General Manger. You would think they would focus on fixing all the problems instead of doing an update with additional features that I'm not sure anyone asked for.
Gosh 100% with you on this!
Agree with you Melissa, this is so frustrating. We have this happening all the time, particularly in the AML Compliance area. Please add a locking alert LEAP!
Our firm does not use LEAP management for documentation at all due to this reason. Sharepoint is far superior and quicker and allows for multiple people to work in the document at the same time with no adverse affects, saving in real time. I was advised by LEAP some time ago they may look at utilising OneDrive at some stage to have the same effect of live documents but there is no roadmap on this.
