How To

To ensure that your business accounting is complete and accurate, LEAP integrates with MYOB to transfer the relevant information automatically. All items sent to MYOB are sent as a general ledger journal to the relevant general ledger account. LEAP integrates with MYOB via a series of web service calls to the MYOB developer API. These web service calls operate in the cloud. Journals are created in LEAP which are then exported to MYOB. There's an audit trail of every transaction and you can quickly and easily check that all journal entries have been made. MYOB account codes are set up when LEAP is installed and normally there is no additional work to be done once the software products are integrated. Below is a table which describes what LEAP and MYOB provide.

Question: A receipt is missing in MYOB, why?

Answer: Firstly, what payment method was used to create the receipt?  If the receipt is cash, you'll need to create an office bank deposit in order for the receipt to appear in the bank reconciliation.  If you have printed the bank deposit, or the payment type is electronic, you'll need to go to the General Ledger Link to check for the journal, and correct any errors in the journal.

Question: How do I set up the general ledger link to export journals automatically?

Answer: You'll need to enable the setting to export journals automatically.
