Controlled Bank Account Listing of Accounts Report

Location: LEAP Menu > Reports > Trust > Controlled Bank Account > Controlled Bank Account Listing of Accounts

Purpose: Lists all Controlled Bank Accounts as of a specified date, with balances calculated based on either the transaction date or entry date.

Note that a Controlled Bank Account will remain included in the report, even if it balance is $0. This inclusion is based on the presence of any recorded transactions. This status persists until the account is marked as Closed. For instructions on how to close a Controlled Bank Account on LEAP, please refer to this article.

Filters:

End Date

Displays all Controlled Bank Accounts that contain a balance up to this selected date.
Note that the date selected is based on the 'Calculated by' filter.
Calculated ByDisplays balances based either on:.
  • Transaction Date or
  • Entry Date.
Group ByGroup the report by:
  • None.
  • Person Responsible.
  • Person Acting.

Report Fields:

Matter Details Displays the matter number. 
Client NameDisplays the client of the matter. 
DescriptionDisplays the matter description
Account NameDisplays the account name of the Controlled Bank Account.
Account NumberDisplays the account number of the Controlled Bank Account.
Date of Power

Refers to Date Opened of the Controlled Bank Account.

InstitutionRefers to the bank Where the Controlled Bank Account is held. 
Balance The balance of the Controlled Bank Account at the selected date, calculated based on Entry Date or Transaction Date.
